The Coolest Endorsement Ever

My name is Dustin Wallace. I play guitar in a pop-punk band called With The Punches. A few years ago I saw a girl named Leah Culver who needed a new laptop but couldn't afford it, so she posted on the internet about having people sponsor it, they donated money and she had their name or company logo engraved on the case. I am attempting to do the same thing, but with a guitar and instead of asking companies to do it, I am going to ask individuals to donate and have their name on what will be my new main guitar.

I work towards the goals that I set

So here we are. 3 weeks ago I decided to start this project, pretty well convinced that I would get about 10 donations and have to call the whole thing off. Last night I reached 50 donations, and this morning I ordered the body for the guitar. I can’t believe how amazing the response to this has been, thank you so much to everyone who has donated thus far, those who have promised to donate as soon as they can, and those who have expressed their support for the project even if they are unable to donate and have posted on facebook, myspace, twitter, AIM, their own personal blogs, and told people to check it out. Every person who see’s the project helps, even if they think it’s dumb, even if they aren’t into the idea, I appreciate them taking the time out of their day to look at this project. To everyone who has started following me on their Tumblr’s, thank you. You guys have no idea how much this all means to me, yeah I’m stoked on a rad new guitar, but I am more excited on having this guitar that so many people are a part of, I can’t wait to play shows and get to show each person their name and thank them for supporting us and supporting what we do. Now with even more enthusiasm for what I am doing I shall return to bothering everyone I can think of about this. Sorry if I’m annoying, but no one ever taught me how to stop grinding.
