The Coolest Endorsement Ever

My name is Dustin Wallace. I play guitar in a pop-punk band called With The Punches. A few years ago I saw a girl named Leah Culver who needed a new laptop but couldn't afford it, so she posted on the internet about having people sponsor it, they donated money and she had their name or company logo engraved on the case. I am attempting to do the same thing, but with a guitar and instead of asking companies to do it, I am going to ask individuals to donate and have their name on what will be my new main guitar.
So the new project has been started. My Dad started building guitars a few years ago and we’ve been trying to figure out a project to work on together. The black “Les Paul” I have been playing for the last few years I bought on Ebay a couple years ago for pretty cheap. I knew it wasn’t a Gibson Les Paul, but I like that body style and figured I could upgrade the Pickup, which I did to a Seymour Duncan “Duncan Distortion”. The guitar has been beaten up pretty, the hardware is all pitted from the fact that I sweat pure acid and the studs that hold the tailpiece in place came loose and pulled forward damaging the top layer of wood, which seemed kinda cheap anyways. The concept is that this will be a Marine Corps themed guitar as my Dad is a Vietnam Vet. We haven’t picked colors or ornamentation but we are sending ideas back and forth. Stay tuned for updates and sketches
